“For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.” 1 Thessalonians 1:8 (KJV)

With all the afflictions/persecutions the Church at Thessalonica was experiencing this word from the apostle was a great one.  Many all around had heard of the faith of these people.

They were standing strong.  Their faith in Christ was growing.  They were bearing the fruit of their faith.

This mornings message at Shiloah Baptist will be “Living Until Jesus Comes Again” with First Thessalonians 1:9-10 and verses from the following chapters as well to begin our study of the Thessalonian letters.
