“Father forgive them; for they know not what they do.”  Luke 23:33-34

“Today you shall be with Me in paradise.” Luke 23:43

“Woman behold your son… Behold your mother.”  John 19:26-27

“My God, My God; why have You forsaken Me?” Matthew 27:46; Mark 15:34

“I thirst.”  John 19:28

“It is finished.”  John 19:30

“Into Your hands I commend My spirit.”  Luke 23:46

In these sayings of Jesus as He suffered, and gave His life for my sins and yours He was fully mindful of all that was taking place.  He did not lose a thing that day, except His life.  He did however get that back; and by the resurrection proves that all that He said in His life, and on the cross was true.

The work He came to do was finished.  He said so.  That is all I need to hear.
