Reading today in Genesis 4 through 5 we are told of the births of two sons to  Adam and Eve; Cain and Abel.

Due to Cain’s hatred for God, and his own brother Abel, whom he murders. After the murder of Abel, God marks Cain, separates from him, and sends him away. Cain lives an evil life having chosen his own path,

Then,

And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: “For God hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.” And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
Genesis 4:25-26

…there is life and hope. Our only hope is the gift of life, and that life in and through the death, burial and resurrection of God’s only begotten Son Jesus Christ.
