Yesterday, April 21, 2007 Charles and Betty Cooper celebrated their sixty fourth year as husband and wife.  Charles will have been a Deacon for thirty eight years on May 18 of this year.

We were all thankful to the Lord today when he was able to be in worship with us.  It has been many months since he was able to do so because of a lengthy illness and being bedridden.  He came walking in using a walker, but glad to be with us all, and all of us pleased to see him.

We remembered their anniversary with cards and a large chocolate, and vanilla cake, which was brought by Luana Reno.  I am not sure if she made it or not, so I will not say she did, but if she did it was a very tasty cake.  It was tasty even if someone else made it.
