“Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.” Ezekiel 11:16 (KJV)

As I read this Psalm 91 and verses one and two came to my mind:

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2

Though the words of God to Ezekiel were spoken to a captive people GOD wanted them to know that He was their security, their peace, their authority; that they would learn that in Him alone were all of these.

So it is for the Christian in today’s world.  It cannot be in part, but in whole – GOD alone.
