And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.” Matthew 14:31-32 (NKJV)

Peter had by faith stepped out of the boat.  When he began to fear, doubt crept in, and he began to sink into the dark waters of the Galilean Sea.  Had he continued to look upon Jesus would he have began that perilous descent?

My thought on that is no.  His faith should have kept him looking upon the One who is the Master of the sea, rather than the perils of the boisterous waves.

Little faith can accomplish much only when we keep our eyes on the One who not only can walk on the water, speak to a storm and calm it, but also went to a perilous, beautiful-terrible cross to die for our sins.

Put your faith in that One, and let your doubts fall into the abyss of the seas of life.
