“Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion. Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God. For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart.” Ecclesiastes 5:18-20  (KJB)

Notice these things:

  1.  It is a good thing to enjoy the good of your labor which God gives you;
  2.  It is God who has given you this portion, rejoice in your labor; it is the gift of God.
  3.  When you relish the blessings of God, the bad days will not even be part of your best memories.

I want to include the English Standard Version of these verses here:

“Behold, what I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his lot. Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God. For he will not much remember the days of his life because God keeps him occupied with joy in his heart.” Ecclesiastes 5:18-20 (ESV)

It is impossible to enjoy the true blessings of God if you have not given your life to the Lord Jesus Christ who died for you on the cross, was buried, and was raised from the grave proving that everything He said was true.

Be sure to go to your house of worship, and worship the Lord Jesus today.
