The Old Testament is chocked full of God’s amazing grace and mercy.  I have learned over the years to view the history of the Old Testament as a picture of my life, and how God not only is working in me but also in all who have been redeemed through the blood of Jesus Christ.

This past Sunday (September 02, 2018) I shared a post on chapter 20 of Ezekiel verses 3 and 31.  Feel free to check it out.

“Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock. As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.” Ezekiel 36:37-38 (KJB)

I read the above verses and see that God has been, is, and will continue to work in the Hebrew people to get them where He has wanted them from the beginning.  The same is true for the Christian.

Since God has began the good work in you; in us; He will complete what He has began (Philippians 1:6).  One thing I have rediscovered reading this prophet is that if God has said it, it shall be done.  It will be accomplished.  Nothing God says will be left undone.

Call on His name through His Son Jesus Christ and His death, burial and resurrection; believe Him, and He will get you through to completion.
