A Time For The Church to Be The Church

This is a message concerning the frightening situation we find ourselves in. This virus is an instrument for good or for evil. For good in the sense of causing us to open our eyes, realized we have sinned against God and righteousness, and we are being given an opportunity to repent and turn back to Him.

We have sinned as a Nation, and it is evident to me in the fear that has led to panic buying, hoarding, and rudeness to others.  Let us continue to live for Christ, loving one another, loving our neighbor as we do ourselves, and if we have not been doing it do so by loving God with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, and all our strength.

With these in mind Shiloah Baptist Church will continue with its regular Sunday services at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. and Evening at 6:30 p.m., and Wednesday night prayer meeting.

We do recommend that you practice good hygiene by washing your hands frequently, and if you are an individual who has a weaker immune system, and feel you need to stay away from large gatherings, then by all means stay at home.

We will be here to help  any in the Jenkins, Missouri community and surrounding area as the need arises.  It is always time for the Church to be the Church; but it is especially so now. We must remember that Jesus Christ is our Healer, the Great Physician.

God bless all, and keep you well.

Pastor, Tim A. Blankenship
