The Happy Guard
Revelation 22:7
In Revelation 16:15 “…he that watches and keeps his garments…” is testifying to dealing with one’s personal life, morality, living and keeping life unspotted. In the current passage of “Happiness” are words concerning the matter of the “prophecies of this book”.
We are to be concerned with Glorifying the Son.
I. …READS THESE PROPHECIES WITH OBSERVATION.
A. Learns, gathers information, noting facts and occurrences.
B. Drawing conclusions based upon the information learned.
C. Making statements, messages to others based upon the information and conclusions drawn (Titus 2:15).
II. …MAKES NOTE OF THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE PROPHECIES.
A. Being alert to the fulfillment of the prophecies of God’s Word, particularly in the prophecies of the Revelation.
B. Rejoices in the fulfillment of these prophecies.
C. Endeavors to keep from sensationalism of these prophecies (1 John 4:1-2).
III. …KEEPS THESE PROPHECIES IN THE HEART AND MIND TO MEDITATE UPON THEM.
A. Steer the life and conversations according to the instructions of God’s Word (Titus 1:16).
B. Hiding them in the heart that we “might not sin against God” (Psalm 119:11).
IV. THE HAPPINESS OF THE GUARD OF THESE PROPHECIES.
A. Blessed in death (Revelation 14:13; Psalm 116:15).
B. Blessed in the First Resurrection (Revelation 20:5-6).
C. Blessed in the access to the Tree of Life, and to “enter the gates of the City (Revelation 22:14).

The Blood Washed Are Happy
I. BEING WASHED IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB THEY KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS (John 6:29 14:15).
II. BEING WASHED IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB WHAT WAS ORIGINALLY LOST HAS BEEN RETURNED (Genesis 2:9, 17; 3:22-24).
III. BEING WASHED IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB WE NOW HAVE ACCESS TO ENTER THE CITY OF GOD (Psalms 46:4; 87:3).
