“And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19 (KJV)

Most of the fishing we know about from the Bible is done with a net, which would net all different types of fish and other things.  Angling was done though, and is not a new form of fishing (Isaiah 19:8). Isaiah speaking of it would have been somewhere around 700 B.C.

I am not a fisherman.  I pray I become a greater fisherman for men in following Jesus.  To be a fisher of souls you and I must follow Jesus.

Let us commit to following Jesus, and He will make us “Fishers of men”.
