I.  THE ALERT TAKE GOD’S WORD SERIOUSLY AND GUARD THEIR LIVES.

II.  THE ALERT GUARD THAT WHICH IS PRECIOUS FROM THAT WHICH IS PERILOUS.

(Romans 13:12-14)

III.  THE ALERT WILL NOT BE CAUGHT UNPREPARED.

(1 Timothy 1:19;  Ephesians 4:30;  1 Thessalonians 5:19;  Galations 5:22-26;  Romans 6:18)

IV.  THE ALERT WILL BE UNASHAMED AT THE LORD’S COMING.
