Then saith He unto His disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:38 (KJV)

The Lord Jesus said these words many years ago; nearly 2000 years ago.  They are just as applicable and relevant to our day as then.

There are many concerned about the immigration of people into the United States of America, and particularly the illegal ones – as am I.  However, maybe we as Christians need to see it as “The Harvest” of which Jesus speaks above.

There are millions of people coming to the U. S. of A. who need Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and there are millions of our own citizens who do as well.

The harvest is ripe, ready to pick, and God will do the saving.  Let us pray that He will send forth His laborers into His harvest.  It is His.
